Safe Streets is a forum for all those who want to make Santa Monica roads safer for everybody. On average, every week one pedestrian and one cyclist are seriously injured in Santa Monica. Over 10 years we had 25 fatalities. Safe Streets is about addressing this scandalous loss of life and health. Now it is time to change the culture of driving in Santa Monica, and to improve our community by working towards better and safer streets for vulnerable road users.
